Hear Clearly in Public Places — With Auracast™

A new Bluetooth technology called Auracast allows sound from TVs, microphones, and public sound systems to stream directly to any compatible hearing aids, earbuds, and smartphones.

No extra receivers.
No neck loops.
Just clear sound delivered directly to your ears.

What Is Auracast?

Auracast is like a public Bluetooth broadcast.

Instead of sound traveling through the air and competing with background noise, Auracast sends audio directly to your hearing devices.

This can dramatically improve clarity in places like:

  • Waiting rooms
  • Churches
  • Conference rooms
  • Fitness centers
  • Airports
  • Restaurants with TVs
  • Community events

How It Helps People With Hearing Loss

Auracast can help you:

  • ✔ Hear TV audio clearly in public places
  • ✔ Understand announcements in noisy environments
  • ✔ Follow meetings and presentations more easily
  • ✔ Reduce listening fatigue
  • ✔ Stay engaged in conversations and events

Instead of struggling to hear through background noise, the sound goes straight to your hearing aids.

How To Connect

Connecting to Auracast is easy:

  • Open the Bluetooth or Auracast menu on your phone or hearing aid app
  • Select the available broadcast (which should be publicly listed)
  • Start listening instantly

In some locations, you may simply scan a QR code to join the broadcast.

Here is an example of how to connect using Oticon hearing aids and the Oticon Companion app.
